Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your email address, to sign you in and, if you turn it on, to send alerts.
• What you set up in Quipwise: the X accounts you watch, your voice samples and tone notes, your niche and bio, news topics and times, your time zone, your X handle, and your Discord webhook link if you add one.
• If you connect your X account: your X user ID, username, and the access tokens X gives us. Tokens are stored encrypted and only used to post the tweets you approve or schedule.
• Content Quipwise writes for you: reply drafts and tweets, and whether you sent them.
• Public data from X: public posts from the accounts you watch, and public numbers on your own sent posts (views, likes, replies, reposts) for your analytics.
• Usage counts, such as drafts, rewrites and AI tweets per month, so we can apply plan limits.
• If you join the waitlist: your email and X handle, so we can invite you.
• If you send feedback: your message and the page you sent it from.

We only use cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Only to run Quipwise: find new posts, write drafts in your voice, send your alerts, post what you ask us to post, show your analytics, and apply your plan. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase: our database, sign-in and background jobs.
• Vercel: hosts the website.
• OpenAI: writes drafts. We send the post being replied to, your voice samples and notes. OpenAI's API terms say this data isn't used to train their models unless we opt in, and we haven't.
• X: we read public posts through X's official API, and post for you only if you connect your account and ask us to.
• Discord and Resend: deliver alerts, if you turn them on.

These services may store data outside Pakistan, including in the United States and the European Union.

How long we keep it

• Drafts you don't send are deleted after 7 days.
• Replies and posts you sent, and their numbers, are kept for 90 days.
• Alert logs are kept for 30 days.
• Your account and settings are kept until you delete your account.

Your choices

• Edit or remove your voice samples, topics and watched accounts at any time in your dashboard.
• Disconnect your X account or turn off alerts in Quipwise whenever you want.
• Email contact@quipwiseai.com to get a copy of your data or to delete your account. We delete it within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. X access tokens are encrypted at rest. Each account can only read its own data, enforced by the database itself.

Age

Quipwise isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
